NR-02 is an encounter and raid boss in the Soulslike Roblox action RPG Derelict, developed by Scrambledly Studios. Defeating this boss grants an official completion badge on Roblox and gives players a chance to obtain rare drops through the end-of-raid Treasure Box, including the 0.02% NR-02 Plasma Cannon vanity item.
Derelict Roblox NR-02 Location and Route
Players navigating to NR-02 must make their way through the Hollow's Outback area. Follow these steps based on recorded navigation routes:
- Travel toward the Hollow's Outback and proceed into the valley region.
- Follow the path up through the valley terrain, keeping toward the elevated side paths.
- Locate and interact with the local Bonsai warp point to secure a respawn and fast-travel anchor in the area.
- From the Bonsai, proceed across the path toward the designated boss arena opening.
Patch history notes (such as update A1.3.0.2) specifically addressed collision issues within the NR-02 arena, confirming its status as a dedicated combat zone.
NR-02 Confirmed Drops and Drop Rates
Raid completions in Derelict award loot via a reward Treasure Box rather than raw floor drops. According to the official game update logs and database records, NR-02 features the following confirmed rewards:
| Item Name | Item Type | Drop Chance | Source / Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| NR-02 Plasma Cannon | Vanity | 0.02% | Raid Treasure Box |
| Flare Quiver | Offhand / Recipe | 1.5% | Dropped as recipe (Crafting 55 required) in update A1.2.0.0 |
| NR-02 Badge | Roblox Badge | 100% (First Clear) | Awarded upon defeating the boss |
Specific boss base health, attack scaling numbers, and phase timers are not published in public developer patch records.
Official Badge and Encounter Mechanics
Derelict tracks major encounter completions through its Roblox achievement system. NR-02 is tied directly to an official badge:
- Badge Name: NR-02
- Badge ID: 3097815730993825
- Official Description: Defeat NR-02
When taking on repeatable boss instances in Derelict, standard raid rules introduced in early major updates apply. Party raids operate under a shared three-lives system; exceeding permitted deaths ejects the party back to the last rested Bonsai. Upon completing the raid, all eligible loot is contained inside the completion Treasure Box, and players receive full health restoration upon victory.
