The Veiled Cathedral in Derelict (Roblox) is located west of the Northern Front. To reach it, start at the Northern Front Bonsai and follow the southwestern path across the terrain until you arrive at the cathedral gates. The Veiled Cathedral Bonsai itself is placed directly inside the structure once you gain access.
This guide outlines the navigation steps to the Veiled Cathedral, how to unlock entry through Clara, the layout of its subareas, and all documented item spawns.
How to Get to the Veiled Cathedral
The Veiled Cathedral sits in the Solar region, which players typically encounter in the mid-to-late stage of progression.
- Fast-travel or walk to the Northern Front Bonsai.
- Face southwest and follow the main descending trail leading away from the Northern Front outpost.
- Continue following the path until the exterior architecture and bleached landscape of the cathedral come into view.
- Approach the front gate where the outer sanctuary is established.
Outside the entrance, you will see Bleached Trees. The front gate is initially locked, requiring interaction with an NPC to progress inward.
Unlocking the Cathedral: Clara's Questline
To enter the interior where the Veiled Cathedral Bonsai rests, you must speak with Clara.
- Clara's Location: Clara is hidden inside a bush near a Bleached Tree right in front of the cathedral gate.
- Entering the Cathedral: Speaking with her initiates her questline. Completing the required steps grants access to the building and clears the barrier preventing entry.
- Once inside the main hall, activate the Veiled Cathedral Bonsai to register the warp point.

Exclusive Materials Found at the Cathedral
According to official game records, the Veiled Cathedral area is the exclusive gathering site for two specific crafting materials:
- Gold Ore: Gold can only be mined inside the cathedral interior; it does not spawn outside the structure. It is used to craft Gold Bars and Aureus Bars.
- Bleached Trees: Found growing around the cathedral grounds. Chopping these yields Bleached Logs.
Dungeon and Area Boss: The Veiled Paladin
Deep within the location lies the dungeon entrance for the Chamber of Awakening.
- Enemies: The halls leading up to and inside the cathedral are guarded by hostile Solar Knights and Solar Priests.
- Boss Encounter: The Chamber of Awakening houses The Veiled Paladin (also referred to in lore as Aureatus). Defeating this boss awards the official game badge The Veiled Paladin.
- Combat Traits: The Paladin wields the Aureatus Hammer and Aureatus Shield, utilizing shield dash attacks and rapid melee combinations.
